This was a total street ride in part because @Dan Diego did not have a ride to put him on the 1290.
Covered just shy of 350 miles for the day.

Why not add this as an event to the calendar so we do not lose sight of it.

So far it looks like we have 7-8 people showing up, all appear to be tire kickers (coming for the event not working on bikes).
which of course is fine, can always be a workshop clean up day.
😁
If I get a headcount we might be able to prepare to at least a dogs on the grill or such.

I like motorcycles...oh LOOK
A squirrel

Please note those that have been to my place before, the Dogs I have will not be there only those of the guest speaker and I assume Doc.
Also I do ask this be a Non Smoking event, my dogs found a cigarette butt in the yard last time and I don't want them eating those things.
If you must smoke please do it out front not in the back yard where the animals play.

If you come bring your own camp chair.

If the presentation ends up at my place I think the shop can only accommodate around 30 people if they are going to do a slide show,
if it is just presenting via talk then we can accommodate more in the yard space we normally hang out it, just have to tell people to bring their chairs with them (folding kind)

Surprised your bike started afterwards

Also its less prone to damage vs the two part mix
more crash proof over time
zubb you need that

Note it is for donations only, no pooping

If people want to bring stuff to sell that's fine but it does take up a decent amount of real-estate and generally not the purpose of the event.
I say if you have good used stuff you want to sell post up here what it is and if enough people have interest bring it.
Don't bring junk just to get rid of it, and do not leave any of it behind, I have a very large dumpster and I am not afraid to use it (people fit in it too 😉)
We always have a donation bucket that goes right back into SDAR.- 1

Location: 925 Chardonney Way Escondido,Ca 92029
Beware of dogs, they will be removed from the property before the gates open but DO NOT ENTER if you show up early for some reason and the gates are NOT OPEN.
Ring the door bell.I am thinking maybe the Saturday July 15th.
Since the website recently had to get all the stuff renewed that is a good chunk of change out of Randy's pocket.
So would like to have people donate for what ever work is done on their bikes to the website (standard protocol for the work I do)
There are 4 dealers close by (all the major brands including BMW) and the cycle gear is here too.
Same rules as in the past, full workshop with all the tools (Mill, Lathe, Tig Welder) etc. will be made available, this is the time to get advice if needed on set up, we can do suspension sag etc.
Ability to repair AL skid plates if needed is also an option, I am talking cracks, not building you one from scratch.
If you use the tire changer plan to take your old tire away with you.
Oil can be disposed of here.
Based on headcount we will determine if there is enough interest to have the grill up and running.
This is a good occasion for the new people to come out and meet old members (they like to hang out on these things <snerk> ) and put names to faces.- 1

Hard to say that was the north side of the MT and I do not know how high up we were at that point.
max elevation was 8400 so that seems to be in the ballpark -

remember folks if riding then park your bikes in the back yard.
If driving please park on the street so as to not block the driveway.
