Dan Diego 40 Posted May 23, 2014 I've had the opportunity to meet 4 or 5 fellow SDAR members in the past week or so (Hobiee, ADV Bum, Trophy Hunter, et al). I wanted to state for the record that I feel fortunate to belong to such a great group of folks. Goofy Footer stopped by last night and we talked bikes and bike people for about 2 hours; we know or have ridden with a lot of the same folks, so some of your ears might've been burning. We both agreed that there are some pretty cool riders associated with this site. I appreciate the assistance I've received (Baja tracks, bike maintenance help, riding related advice, etc.). That's part of what makes SDAR so great. Just thought I'd mention that. Please continue enjoying your Friday and long weekend. Dan

Suspenders 43 Posted May 23, 2014 You nailed it! I love what I do because I like the people. Many of them from this site. It is such a small community that most of my customers know each other, have ridden with each other etc. Quality all the way! Except of course, bikeslut! Suspenders 43 Posted May 23, 2014 I HAVE BEEN FRAMED! I would never say that about Bikeslut. Well maybe I would, but I DIDN'T ! Now I have to keep him in front of me on Sunday so I can keep an eye on him. I bet Bowers had something to do with this as I know Randy has too much class I know Bowers likes it behind and bikeslut in front, I may end up looking like a tuna sandwich. Hope I make it back Sunday?
paulmbowers 236 Posted May 24, 2014 Nothing to do with it. And BS sweeps, I typically lead. Not that I know where I'm going.

paulmbowers 236 Posted May 24, 2014 June 12, 2008- better days for both of these bikes. I enjoy riding with SDAR, and this was one of the first rides. BS and I have gone on to become friends (he's partially responsible for my musical career) which would not have happened if the site didn't exist.
dirt dame 561 Posted May 24, 2014 Well said DD. I concur 100%. This forum ain't big enough for two DDs..... but we have at least three.

I had no idea you'd had the startled Pokemon light since 2008. You should really put it on the 500. It's your signature.

Oh wait . . . that's not what you meant. Agreed. I've only met one bad apple on this site and, of course, he's the Jarhead who started this thread!

SDlineman 0 Posted May 28, 2014 I know Bowers likes it behind and bikeslut in front, I may end up looking like a tuna sandwich. I'm not sure which disturbs me more; the quote itself, or the fact that I have been the tuna in this sandwich more than once.
TrophyHunter 15 Posted May 28, 2014 Yeah, I was gonna leave this alone, but it makes a guy kinda feel less special, doesn't it?
