tntmo 887 Posted October 24, 2018 I guess it depends on the bikes they are on? I wouldn't ride my Husky up there, but maybe a 690 KTM, 701 Husky, KLR650, DR650, etc...... Hell of a mystery ride, don't know how many people can get that kind of limit to their leash?
KTMrad 508 Posted October 24, 2018 Wish I could go... I'd have to board Doc Holliday and that's not gonna happen.

Mr.JAJA 380 Posted October 24, 2018 Kug, would i need neuwish knobby tires or is it more road orientated? Dont know if I can get my tires in time.
MacDuncan 131 Posted October 25, 2018 Hey Kug, although a mystery ride, could you share if extra gas should be carried on the bike in order to reach more remote areas. And, how many, or which meals, should be on our bike upon departure ( maybe drive-by pubs will be on route - haha). I am helping a buddy pack for an overnight for the first time and wondering if I should let him buy or borrow bigger bags if packing overnight stuff gets him "Maxed Out". After a couple good size bumps in the road.... don't want to find his stuff scattered along the route like breadcrumbs Thanks.
royboyz 36 Posted October 25, 2018 Kug, I was assuming this is a small bike ride but correct me if I’m wrong
Covered in Dust 163 Posted October 25, 2018 If we are going where Ken and I discussed 100 mile range is adequate. It is big bike doable if you are comfortable in lots of sand. That said small bikes would be better suited. Dinner and breakfast for Saturday night and Sunday morning. Lunch available on route and beverages will be available for purchase about 40 miles from camp. I wouldn’t put new knobbies on because there will be about 100 miles of pavement. All subject to change if Kug changes destination. CiD
Mr.JAJA 380 Posted October 25, 2018 I like the tire choice, not the miles of loose sand.
