tntmo 887 Posted November 2, 2017 SDAR, I'd like to extend an invitation to my retirement ceremony. After over 26 years serving in the US Navy, it's time to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up. Just kidding, I don't plan to grow up but I'm almost done playing military games. The ceremony will be held on board USS Essex at Naval Station 32nd Street on December 15th at 1000. If you don't have base access, I can probably get something lined up but I need advance notice. Otherwise, there will be a reception at the Lemon Grove VFW from 2-8pm. 2885 Lemon Grove Ave, Lemon Grove, CA 91945

simicrintz 177 Posted November 2, 2017 I was honored to attend the retirement ceremony for a good Marine friend of mine about a month back. These are very impressive ceremonies and truly make you proud to be an American. Unfortunately I am not able to attend this one. Good for you, Tom, and thank you for your service!! tntmo 887 Posted December 16, 2017 Jim....my family is in awe that I had a professional photographer show up! You’re awesome, the power of SDAR is possibly stronger than the military! I’m recovering nicely today after getting up early and running a half marathon on my first day of retirement. I’m not planning to slow down too much.
