What a cool video. Loved the pinups on the wall behind the dude building the bike. I guess that stuff wasn't clear enough to see in the 60's. Haha

That is what I remember. 2" travel 150 ccm and no Helmet. And the forest is ours. No I- pad, no color TV, just the trees and mud, love the time.

Check out the vintage porn posted up in his garage where he builds his bike...nice ..I had to go back and pause .

Love the motorcycle kit idea.

I hate to rain on everybody's Nostalgia Parade, but riding without gear was lazy and foolhardy (and we didn't have half the stuff we have now) and the bikes were all motor and no suspension and brakes...was it a blast? Yeah! But modern bikes are SO good in comparison, and we're not 12 anymore...i'll keep my gear and 11" of travel, disc brakes, etc

Thanks for posting. I've seen it 100 times and to see it again is just fine its a great one!!!Greeves!!! Sorry for the downfall of the British moto industry. The only shame of the viddy is the edited in sound effects.....those greeves 2 strokes were crazy loud with blooey pipes!!! the sounds sometimes seem all 4 stroke in nature even when you see the Villiers 2 strokers. went to vintage race a while back that loudest bike by far was the greeves 2 stroke.

remember no bickering when you scramble.

That was just too sweet. I love seeing the old videos...good comparison of how far we've come, and how much we still love riding.

I didn't mean riding without gear was a good idea. We just did not have the gear that is available today. We did not have the suspension either! I am sure in the future there will be even better protective gear. But you still enjoy riding with today's equipment don't you?

Ha..we used to jump off the school roof on bmx bikes with no gear...helmets and gloves were required in our family for dirtbikes, but bicycles were ignored....and yes; I rode a MR50 in the drainage ditches of orange county and out to the construction sites with minimal gear...i'm just saying while we're all feeling nostalgic, the bikes are SO much better today, and I feel naked without a helmet and boots on...

That's a cool video makes we want to buy one just for hell of it. But just watching video my back already hurts. And damn that little kid only riding for 4 months has better riding stance than me
