Two Motos?

Recommended Posts

After years of thinking One Moto was fine, I finally found a reason to own two.

When #1 is Broken, a person can still Ride #2

Who Knew?!? big_boss.gif

Not that I will own two,,,in this life

My excuse was.... "there are so many different kinds of riding; track, desert, mountain, sandy, rocky, single track etc., you can't expect one bike to do it all well!!! Of course I need another bike!!"

I wonder if that will work for the 3rd??

Yup, 4 is the number.

3 plated thumpers of various sizes and 1 small smoker.

My father used to ask why I had so many surfboards,

my reply

"why do you have so many golf clubs."

6 bikes and I still want more!coolio.gif

"What Broke?"

After 150 miles in the wilderness, the last 40 on pavement, I chopped the throttle from 65mph and it just quit.

Rolled to a stop. Key off and on, restart for a moment, the end.

The 350 is with R.J. He will get to it next week. Two Blinks = Crank Position Sensor.

Crank Position Sensor

Might be a little personal, but I hope it gets worked out to your satisfaction.

Which is a big part of why we go to these untraveled spaces,,,to face the unexpected.

Believe me, I would have taken the tow if the failure happened 3 hours earlier.

I remain optimistic the issue is some sensor / electronic failure as the battery voltage kept dropping.

Yep, glad I held onto my 300. The 350 has been out of commission for a while with some electrical/starting quirk.......2 bikes are a must......

I try to keep two street legal/dirt capable bikes in the garage at any time; granted...I "got" to ride the TW200 for a couple of group rides, and had to try and keep up on the freeway with my DRZ other times, but it's better than no option

Plus assorted mountain bikes in the garage means you never have to spend a weekend in a cage

At this point, I have 1.5.

Unless the 990 counts as 1.5 due to weight, in which case I have two bikes.

So- yeah.

I have 1.5 and neither works, I really need e-start and fuel injection, but that entails payments, not now.
