If I'm not mistaken, this was taken shortly after and immediately proceeding Dave finding a couple of those "soft places to fall over". Full disclosure - I found my own soft spot to fall over about 100 yards down the wash. 😂

Must be something wrong with my camera, because I could have sworn this hill was 3 times higher and twice as steep 😂

That exo type is what I have used for several multi day trips. the trick to keeping it from being STANK is soon as you get to camp I take it off and throw over the bike in such a way it will air out all night, even better if left to sit in the sun while setting up camp. I have never had an smell issue with it and that after a number of years of use always in hot environs. You can always febreze the crap out of it when you get home and that also helps with future use.

I struggle with staying cool in armor and have found Leatt's AirFit and AirFlex lines to be a great compromise. The armor you're willing to wear is always better than the armor you left in the closet.

The "Badlands" was a tough little wash trail that had everything you could ever want in a ride. Rocks burried in deep deep sand, hill climbs, deep deep sand, knife edge down hill death trail, soft places to fall over and plenty of sunshine! The shot of the hill climb makes me look better than I am!! about 1 second after the picture was taken, my brain told the rest of my body that it could not make the 4 foot vertical climb at the top of the hill. Too much self preservation? Chicken S#%T? I guess I cant say "I need to get used to the new bike" when Darren gets on it and rips it up the hill!!

Here is me guiding the group through the dezert on an awesome adventure stopping to explain how a huge creek flowed thru Here on the middle of summer. Here a pic of me getting some. My bike looped out and did a 180 in air. I'm OK. It was fun. I should of stayed to the left.

I have a hard rule on just such things....if you can smell it, you're not riding fast enough

That thing wasn't going to get it's self up the hill!

This is a great question, because it was also something I worried about. Because I wear a clean jersey over it, and regularly bathe the body under it, it's always fine... Zero stank, zero issues, it still looks new. I think what you can't tell is how breathy the shirt material is, it's almost 'fishnet' level breathyness. And now you too, know you don't need to worry about that question

I rock this under a jersey, so does @moto_rph and @Porkchop - Great armor for the summer, or to be layered in for winter rides. Leatt 3DF AirFit Hybrid https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/riding-gear/leatt-3df-airfit-hybrid-body-protector-p

In this photo I was trying to do some trick photography for everyone back home on their computer that is injured... I'm not as good as wierdrider . It does show how green the dezert is Here's a pic of just a few dudes going riding relaxing with that feeling of being a little tired and enjoying the peaceful dezert on motorcycles. Mike is seen here with a folding chair to kick back and relax in style .. Zubb style rating 2 points. I guess they used that water tower to fill the trains steam engines back when they weren't using diesel.

Did a test ride today with my Dad on my recent upgrades to my 07' KTM 450 EXC. It has been a while, like late May since i through my leg over it. Forgot how much i like this bike. We decided to take the easy route Gate 3 aka Lusardi Trail down in Orosco Ridge before going on Gate 2 up to the Glider Port aka the Pines. All i could stand was Lusardi and will try again next weekend. Definitely still some riding cobwebs to get rid of. There Back until my GoPro Died

@tntmo I made it! I like that you slipped the "hard core" in there.

I truly love these write-ups. I know they take a great deal of effort, especially the videos, so thank you for taking the time. I am really looking forward to a first Baja trip.
