MauleR - get a set of FROGG TOGGS. They are light weight, pack down small, are sturdy enough to last awhile and not "overly" expensive. And, Kkug recommends 'em! ;)

Thanks dress4less! I have a rain/windbreaker jacket I will get a pair of those pants. The forecast of rain has already changed to partly cloudy so.....🙄 I will also have a couple emergency blankets in my pack CID! FYI for those with the E32 Baja maps they just released the 2019 update, if you bought the 2018 version it's a free upgrade.

Will be running nearly identical route tomorrow through Sunday. Dust will certainly not be an issue, although expecting mud, ditches and puddles a-plenty! Feel free to follow along.  https://us0-share.inreach.garmin.com/brikman

Looking forward to the RR and Pics...:smile_anim:

Aloha

Roughly 168 hours from now, we will be fueling up and eating tacos in Ojos

Final role call will surface Tuesday

This is a rain or shine event aka: adventure riding

If the rain scares you, theres always next time.

Gents, I'm sorry but I'm out. I just have too much going on and I've been out of town too much already. If there's a reboot in early Jan or early Feb, I'd in.

Now I have to install my farkles with no ride scheduled to show them off...damn

How much weight does one give to superstition?

Tuesday October 31st 2017 (Halloween) was a full moon... I was riding up in Rock-House Canyon in Borrego... front end lost grip and I went down breaking a rib. Thursday June 28th 2018 was a full moon...I was riding in Corral Canyon; I high sided on a steep off-camber rock face, and went down, breaking a collarbone. Baja California January 17th 2019, a Super Full Moon! Three Time's a Charm?

My Mule got broke...

So true! Thank you Paul, I needed to read that comment. On the other hand though... it could be that the solar KP index was below one on those days.  The bike is all set-up and prepared for this incredible Baja run! See you Friday early.

Reminder: I'll be taking a group over at 0700 to get FMMs- here's the link: https://www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/en/solicitud.html Fill it out online, print it out, and it's a simple stamp. You'll need your passport.

Or, you can complete them there and delay the rest of the group...ahem.

See you in the morning!
