kkug 147 Posted April 3, 2016 Good times as always. Again can not thank Riggerdan and Paul Bowers enough. Dan for trucking food and drink to remote Alder Canyon and Paul for his excellent cooking abilities, Great to meet some new to me riders and breaking in the newbee Coop. Dress4Less 162 Posted April 4, 2016 What a great weekend...thanks for organizing and leading the crew out Kug...special thanks to Bowers for his Culinary Mastery...extra-special thanks to Rigger for hauling out the Five-Star gourmet food and beverages...what a spread, wow! Also got to meet and ride with two cool guys I have not rode with before...Amgems(Jim) and Coop(Jack). Here are a few pics of the adventure: 99.9% of my rides don't start by jumping on the freeway...this ride was the exception...I met Jim here and we heading north from RB to Kug's place in Escondido where we met Kug(Ken) and Cosmo(Tracy). From Kug's place the four of us headed over to CID's(Chris N.) where we met CID and PMB(Paul). From CID's place we headed out on the Mystery Ride. We met Cdaddy, V-Dog and Coop by Aguanda...Nine riders...seven KTM's and two Yamaha's...snack break... We were making great time so we topped off the tanks and headed up Thomas Mountain Then we arrived at camp where Rigger had already laid out the goods...I was totally impressed... Camp guard dogs... Rigger with his "Steve VanZant" headgear on... Jim sampling the goods... Camp de Crawdaddy... Camp de Dress4Mystery... I had know idea that Paul was such the cook...some of his delicious Medallions... V-Dog(Vaudois) busting a few moves on the desert dance floor... Sunday am...Cdaddy chilling before the ride out... We headed out after breaking camp, said goodbye to V-Dog who was meeting the wife at a different camp and then we eventually split into two groups. CID, PMB, Kug and Cosmo headed to Escondido and Cdaddy, Coop, Amgems and I headed to Ramona for some tasty burgers and cold beverages. After burgers, Cdaddy and Coop headed out to the Estates and Amgems and I headed down the hill to Poway and RB. The weekends numbers... Thank you all for a fantastic adventure! Riggerdan 147 Posted April 5, 2016 Camp Mystery was well prepared for the battalions arrival.... Such a good time with great people, lot's of satisfaction having an iced cooler of mystery, and a few steaks waiting for your buddies. Great to meet a few new faces, and had a really good time around the fire pit Think my dogs put on a few pounds, and their still sleeping it off Like the sound of a KMR in Baja, not sure I can wait a whole year..
