Hey Goofy, I've ridden in Nevada a few times.

As far as the BDR is concerned,  were there many difficult sections ?

I'd love to try it with our sidecar rig, but would have to avoid tough, nasty sections.

Great cruise Goofy, glad to see you out and about!  Hope you continue to share thoughts and strategies, and reflections (gear, bike, riding, route... ), about your outing even after you get home!  It is always good to get insights from those who HAVE done it. :).  Safe travels home. Cheers

Great photo dump.
Am stoked to hear more detail and your final thoughts.
Awesome that you didn’t get snowed out too!

There’s a cafe/motel and 24hr credit card fuel pump….also ample camping spots on either end of town

Outdoor Inn is the spot. They have a full kitchen with breakfast at 0800, lunch and dinner. Saturday is Prime Rib night and the bar is open for business everyday. They have a motel in the back for $80 a night or so.

Gas across the street offers Diesel or Ethanol Free Premium 91 Octane, 24 hours a day. It’s very convenient considering the gas pumps on the IDBDR.

Preparing to ride several sections of NVBDR starting 5/3/24. Your photos are getting me pumped up to start. Any notable advice regarding the route?
