Sneeker 29 Posted June 6, 2013 - Palomar Divide (where your link goes) is OPEN - Halfway Truck Trail was close the one time I tried to go up that way - Barker Valley Spur is CLOSED. Avocado 0 Posted June 14, 2013 Thanks for the update... I too spotted Gomez Trail on Google earth... it looks perfect. Does anyone know if that is a seasonal gate, private, Cleveland Nat'l Forest? It is hard to pick out gates, that damn google earth connects everything... zoom in all the way and I find there is not even a dirt trail, just brush. FuzzyNugs 0 Posted June 14, 2013 I tried to get up there back in January and am not exactly sure if I had the right trail head, but I found this locked gate very close to where Gomez should have been.
