SDAR on KUSI Morning Show 6-9-2013

Recommended Posts

Oh- stay on your topic, don't improvise or ad-lib. When you've made your point (that you rehearsed out loud, not just in your head) then SHUT UP. Let the talent (that's them) fill in silences or ask questions.

You won't say anything stupid on your rehearsed stuff. But when you adlib, you will.

Hit your points, then shut up.

A guy here at work has been on two times with the Vintage Motocross club. He said there is generally one guy who is the "spokesperson". In his case it was Frank, the prez of the VMX club. Dave usually talks to him for about 30 seconds. That's the "long" interview. If there is time he'll walk around and talk to some of the other people. 10 seconds each tops. Usually he'll ask quetsions about the bikes, what have you done to it, what's this thing, how long you been riding, pretty light stuff.

It's all planned out...I will be the spokesman, he will ask what we're about, then will hit up some of the riders with some questions. I am making a short list of points I will focus on including many similar to your suggestions above.

Different bikes are good, and he will probably ask the women questions, if any show up.

Time will probably be 5 to 8 minutes total.

I agree it is a better image than a bunch of sloppy, hairy guys showing up... Kato, maybe you could represent the International market also.

Oui but im sloppy and hairy, and so is my bike plus noisy

You guys have faces for radio!

Here are some past CALVMX interviews.

Thank you TNTMO for inviting me to KUSI this morning with other members from San Diego Adventure Riders. That was a great way to start off a Sunday morning and I really liked meeting and talking with the other members of the forum. I will try to attach some of the pictures I took. post-15322-032743600 1370793157_thumb.jppost-15322-078463800 1370793163_thumb.jppost-15322-013031200 1370793172_thumb.jp
