Jon O 0 Posted February 21, 2007 Cool Photos, Jon O.....thanks for posting, and Welcome to the Forums. Thanks! Well, here's a few more from near my parents' place in Nogales, AZ right near the Mexican border. My uncle keeps his DR650 at my dad's place, available for anyone to ride so when I visit sometimes we can sneak away and ride some of the rocky goat trails down there. The adobe structure is what is left of a post office from, I'm guessing, the 1800s.

If I had to guess, it's in the area West of Campo down the tracks.... or up the tracks from Ocotillo. ... with this pic being too close to the nekkid camp, as a nice elderly 'near' nekkid man strolls by... and you try and look ... like your not staring at his arse. kiddin' of course! I'll add a couple Baja Coast.... Me and my plated 450X and my girlfriend on her TRX; Baja Coast... On the beach, enjoying the weather; Baja Pine Forrest... Cool, just rained, and very green. christi20 0 Posted October 22, 2008 OK, I know most of you may not motocross, but here are some of my favorite photos. This is practice at Perris in Aug 08 The track has completely mellowed out since then. Here is me over the finsh line jump at Racetown during a VetX race. I love it when I can see my eyes in photos. This is another good closeup over a small double at Perris in August 08 Perris again over one of the tables in June at the FirePolice Race. Here is a desert racing photo from 06. Looks like I am roosting big time. But actually, I just came out of a ditch to the right. The course actually goes to the left of me (not towards the camera as it looks). I totally swapped but managed to save it!
dirt dame 561 Posted October 23, 2008 This old shot of me, which I set up and took myself with a tripod and the timer trip, is my favorite picture of me that I have. I took it in August of 1988 on Espinoza trail. I am riding a bike that belongs to American Honda Corporation in Gardena. It was a 1988 XR200. It's kind of a long story as to how ended up having one of their trail bikes (for 6 weeks) and not really all that interesting. But I like this shot, not because I am doing anything particularly talented (unless you count trying to time my approach to a predetermined spot in the creek bed to the time that the shutter was supposed to open) but to the overall feel of the terrain in the shot. The pictures says: "This is great riding area and I happen to be lucky enough to be in it!" That's how I felt, and that's how I still feel out on the trail. I wanted to impart the feeling of a bit of speed, but in fact I had to ride very slowly, balancing trials style to insure that I would stay at the proper spot in the picture frame for the composition I was looking for. I only did one run and crossed my fingers that it turned out okay. Camera was a Minolta SRT101 with a 35/80 3.5 lens up front. Most likely, I had the lens squatted all the way to 35 to pull in the scenery properly.
Terrible619 4 Posted October 23, 2008 I know Ive posted this first one before somewhere else here, but oh well. This is Esefa (Brent) at Superstition in April. After a long day of watching the trucks race & exploring the sandy superstition mountains, we found this little jump on the way back to the truck. It was down in the flats where someone had built up the giant dirt piles near Wheeler road. I heard they used these dirt piles while filming the movie Jarhead.... Neat huh? Same place... This next one is a little more fresh, its from August. Here is Brent again, this time launching the Husky out of a bowl at Pismo. The jump was a long step-up that I was hitting topped out in 4th gear. This was the 2nd try for the picture. I stood to close the first time and had to duck as Brents rear tire flew by my head at 50mph.
