Bagstr 288 Posted January 10, 2017 Sneaking out Thursday for breakfast and a cruise around the badlands. Some high winds and small amount of rain Wednesday and earlier will have hopefully cleaned up the two track mash-up from the holidays. The wind subsides Thursday with only 20% precip; the drive down and back could be showery. Plated Bikes, 75 miles The Governor

Bagstr 288 Posted January 11, 2017 PMB, I had you covered on the eggs, corned beef and muffins at the southern trailhead. Those EXRA Crispy hash browns are a deal breaker. Kendall's can take care of us well, with tomato juice to boot. I will let them do the cooking this time and meet you there , arriving 0830. TG

Bagstr 288 Posted January 11, 2017 Remembering those days of heat and dust has me thinking the weather is an opportunity. Looking at fog and light rain on the drive down. In the dez less wind than today, clouds and a shower or two. Unless a major change in the weather, I will take my chances in the dez with the groomed and watered track. Bags Will check back in the early evening one last time. CID, You slacker! Can I have your hash browns?

Looking at fog and light rain on the drive down. Understood- it's a wobbler. Could be the best conditions EVER. Could be (for me) 4 total hours of drivingfor a mud slog for which I'm unskilled. And then there's home responsibilities...what to do, what to do...?
