Goofy Footer 539 Posted August 17, 2013 I was down south a while back doing some secret beach exploring - here are a few pics of the fun and a new attraction to me which I call Pequena Bufadora. Found lots of fun coastal trails, some bluffside single track, cobblestone beaches etc. It was great fun riding without gps tracks and taking every fun trail we saw - eventually I'm hoping to put them together for a fun ride. Made it to rusty shipwrecks - surf spot and baja photo op This guy making friends with the locals I could think of worse places to change a flat. We just blasted up a rocky hill climb and sat atop the bluff on the southern tip of a point overlooking a little bay/riverwash btw I think I picked up a very slight leak in my front tire too - probably from bushwhacking through some cactus - is this a good opportunity to Slime it? Silty descent toward another fishing camp Here look at that funny hole. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Holey crap! Proof I was there - misty rainbow A pic atop the little hillclimb on the trail between Ojos and Uruapan. It's a little bumpy/rutty on the south side but if you're patient and look ahead you can pick a good line up. Ride On SDAR!

xr650lnoob 0 Posted August 17, 2013 Man that seems like an adventure, especially being able to ride/hug the coastline. I'd like to join you guys next time, if time permits! Awesome pics
kato 54 Posted August 17, 2013 For those who were on the KKug ride on July27 and never visited this blowhole it is located about a mile north of were we camped during that trip. Found it while retracing our tracks virtually on google earth the day after we got back. During the usual chats at coyotecals that evening we heard of some natural caves close by, some more exploring for next time!

kato 54 Posted August 17, 2013 Do it some Sunday and I'm IN! if this is an all dirt ride, going south of Ensenada and back is better done in 2 days though I would say. Sat/Sun? Sun/Mon? Vamonos.

Dan Diego 40 Posted August 17, 2013 That's the area I've been exploring the past couple of months. I also camped a short distance from that mini-bufadora. I'd definitely be up for a weekend or Sunday/Monday thing. Great photos, Tim.
Guest Crusty Posted August 18, 2013 I rode all that a couple months ago and liked Uripan to Ojos Negros the most.

Goofy Footer 539 Posted April 18, 2015 Some old pics but new info sparked a deep thread revival SDAR spreading the stoke south of the border. Note the condition of the wrecked ship behind us. And here is some history behind that ship - taken from bajanomad forums by David K "From the Baja Adventure Book (page 120) 1998 edition:KM 150: Sedan road west (signed) to Punta San Jacinto, 6 miles. The wreck of a coastal freighter Isla del Carmen, driven ashore in 1981, lives near the point. Known as "Freighters" to surfers, even thouigh there is only one, this place has excellent right point breaks on large swells, some a mile from shore. The road south to CamalĂș can handle sedans." btw I've only ever heard the break called Shipwrecks Baja sunset heading towards Coyote Cals
