Crawdaddy 96 Posted April 2, 2013 I only know of 2 people who committed/made reservations for the proposed "Club Ride" Screw it.........I'm going to bail/cancel and defer it til TBD next Fall......I need to switch focus and prep water toys for Spring/Summer deployment......plus, Kathy is now heading out with me that weekend.....it would be "politically unwise" for me to blow off spending time with Kathy ( ) and also blow off taking care of house/water toy chores to ride motos with a group of....."2" .....that would also leave me ill prepared for our return 2 weeks later to play in the river with the kids So, stay tuned for the next opportunity......hopefully more folks will jump on the bandwagon in the Fall...... River I did that on my big adventure bike (XR 680L), loved the ride, left Carlsbad at 4:00 Was an easy day, when I got there, I couldn't wait to get home, though! Crawdaddy 96 Posted August 13, 2013 Waiting to see confirmed date 11/7-10 is a confirmed timeframe since I have Friday the 8th off from work.......I understand some folks may opt to come out Friday night so they don't need to burn a vacation day......those folks may opt to ride only Sat. or Sat/Sun morning then split......I'll be heading out Thursday night and riding big loops on Friday/Sat......just clean up the house and drive home on Sunday...... If I get my bike going and dialed in time I would love to join, would probably be a friday night bonzi out and sunday afternoon bail if the stars align.
