Sounds good, I'll be there.

@DSM8 Sure, but I’m bad at non-specific addresses. Part of growing up in the cell phone era + my memory. Give me a specific address for that meetup spot and I’m there.

Compliments to @shutterrev for that part of - well, actually all of the trail. He led and I just mapped it. I hope to do more like this!

I love the overlay from your Relive video, I'll be using that format in the future. Did you find my trail summary to be accurate?

I'll be there and I'm down to test TrailTech's buddy tracker.

I've shared rides before:
Doing so was one of the things that made me want to help polish up this website. I think that the track library is one of the cornerstones of making this site useful to new members. I don't think what we have is the best way of doing it, but it is better than nothing. Once we get migrated, I'll be tacking how to best collect and share tracks.

Thanks for adding the pics @MikeEscoNYC! Thanks to lighting and bad luck, the first pic makes me look like the grumpy old man from the movie Up! On future rides, I'm going to work to get group photos more dialed in so we can tell who attended, and how big the group was.

Is this you in photo 6?

Ummmmm we should do this ride as a large group.

Share all you can! Our community needs more of this. Currently, we don't have an official way to do this, but I'd love to find a good way to build a track library.

Takes a team. Looking forward to many, many more rides. @spazegun2213, sync up with @shutterrev, he really knows the local trails.

Damn that’s a stunning photo. Zoom in and check out that road patina. This image tells a story. Squad goals @Angela!

I am terrible with names. Photos are numbered, just identify yourself and add some context to the photo and I'll update the descriptions to match.
-
Does anyone know the two KTM riders? That is @MikeEscoNYC in blue in the back.
-
@Pokey151 on the left, and @Rjg967 on the camo KLR. @AcousticTie in the retro helmet, white gloves, and classic KLR, looking ready to take your girl.
-
@AcousticTie is excited about his first real offroad ride. I can speak for the group in saying that we are happy to see new members and we welcome riders at all levels. It doesn't hurt to have a boss KLR650.
-
@spazegun2213, our fearless leader and event organizer.
-
@ECDave on his Super Tenere.
-
@J5ive and @MikeEscoNYC, the group's experienced Harley Riders. I love seeing riders with tons of road miles expanding their horizons with adventure bikes.
-
One of the best things about rides like this is new members meeting each other, swapping stories, and transferring knowledge. Here @J5ive holds court.
-
Who is this on the left? That is @spazegun2213 and @MikeEscoNYC talking to him. @AcousticTie is always lurking in the background, working on stealing your girl.
-
@DSM8 got a nasty sting on his wrist at the start of the ride and it bugged him... (get it?) the whole ride.
-
@J5ive in gray on the left, @DSM8 checking out the bug bite on his wrist, and @AcousticTie in the Canadian tuxedo on the right with his awesome KLR behind him.

Yeah man, sounds fun. I ride with @shutterrev, @moto_rph, and @PerigrinoRobbino most often. Good people, the lot of em.

@Pokey151, meet @AcousticTie.

It really is an interesting bike. Confidence building, techy enough to be useful (it has a turn-by-turn navigation indicator!), cool looking, well built, and most importantly, it got my wife to learn to ride. I am proud of her work and happy to see her having fun.

YES! I kept mine well past the time that I needed it for my bum ankle. When my back is acting up or when I have one of those days where I Just Can't, I sit on that chair and just meditate under the hot water.
-
Hey @padu would you add this to the calendar? It is a much better fit for this kind of thing thanks to an RSVP list, links to maps, and greater visibility to the community. I'm happy to write up a guide if you want, or you can use the upcoming newbie ride as an example.

Sending you good vibes buddy. If you want to have your 2-wheeled friends over for a beer sometime, let me know. I did ankle surgery years ago and recall the boredom of being on my butt for weeks. Bathing was a pain in the
buttleg. Trashbags and medical tape are your friends.1 hour ago, shutterrev said:Saibeth is awesome
Is she on the forum?

Hey @Angela, Perry, aka @moto_rph rides with me and Nick, aka @shutterrev. He's wicked fast and could give you lots of good pointers.

I vote for the longer, more complex trail. But I am game to follow the crowd.
