Kug,

I like how you have your bike hiding a dead give-away clue in one of the pictures..... Unfortunatly, I am unable to get a bike there (unless I trailer it).

Good tag, Ken, well done.

Rode up to Double Peak in San Marcos this evening for the Tag. Then met the Kug for a cold one down at the San Marcos Brewery. Nice night for a little ride.

I'll post a new Tag tomorrow and make sure I get a bike in it.

Now I know where it is Ken. But the last time I was up there it was all dirt single track trails. No paved roads, bldgs, lamp posts etc.. My friend and I were stopped by two county sheriffs riding 1986 Yamaha XT350's. Things change really fast when you get old..

OK here is the new Tag. It's north of the 78, south of the 76 and east of 15. It's off of a road that has the same name as a Radical motocrosser who was at the height of his game in the mid 70's. The lake in the back ground shares the same name. And the mountain in the background has a few large telescopes on it.

Good clues were given. No trying to weasel more out of CID.stop.gif

Chris, that's one of the best tags I've seen. Great picture, great bike and great clues.smiley-happy096.gif

Actually this is my avocado delivering rig. I pick avo's from my grove and deliver to my friends in the area. So that should be another clue. And yes the site is accessible from legal roads.

Just got back...& I confirm above quote.

I knew it was gonna be close, but I still didn't "rip" through that nice neighborhood... ;)

--Unless a picture of those two rocks counts.... lemme know "Rule enforcers"....

I'll try again manana, after trabajo.... if there is enough horas left in daylight .

Hey "covered in after sunset"... good tag.

And, is/are there stats on failed tag-O-rama'tempts out there ??

Because my count is at 2, as of now. ...

Cheers,. Dan

Tagged: Turner Lake

I'll get the next one tomorrow.

Uhm, I don't see the two rocks/boulders..... ??

-Just curious... does:

The Tagger takes a picture of their bike in a findable location. Said picture is posted with clues to where the location is. Others have to figure out where the location is, go there, take a picture of their bike in the location and post it. The first one to post up a picture gets to do the next tag.

..mean in the exact location?? or not.

I am just curious, even though I was there twice within the last 24hrs  In either way, get us the next tag, DM.

Had a good time on Cougar Pass and the view from up there was great.

Also, I have a question that I will post in the members only section.

Cheers

Well I do think that DR and Kug hit the exact spot. However I think we should let the Mistress make the call. I really didn't think anyone would get the exact spot. I guess my trip down memory lane with the Radical motocrosser at the height of his fame in the 70's got people thinking of Radical Ron Turner. Which gave them Turner Heights Lane which looks down on Turner Lake.

Really happy to see more people going after these tags. It's really fun figuring out where they are and then it's always nice to go for a ride.

I meant having the same features (as the boulders/tower/signs/... perspective) in the shot.... along with the bike... :excl:;)

Good stuff

PS: the dog didn't seem to be to aggressive to me. Just jumping and running along @ 15mph wiggling his almost non existing tail.. :(
