Next pic will be as is now rolling chassis with engine in. Will do a nice pressure wash then drain oil clean filters and adjust valves. Then begin to sort out the wiring harness to create a full FIM enduro spec layout (plated of course). And I found these simple cool sorry but made in china battery powered clamp on bars horns (120dB!!). Tested on my 300 for durability.

I put it on my TX300 and rode around and it was still on the bars when I came back!! So it passed the dirt test, I will get another one for the 610 now. I like horns on my dirtbike they are very effective when catching up to racers/riders to let them know you are there, and for some ingrained reason folks tend to move over when they hear a horn on the trail. Bp619 104 Posted July 30, 2020 I've heard you old clown style horn a couple times telling me to get out the way very effective
robertaccio 411 Posted July 30, 2020 Just now, Bp619 said: I've heard you old clown style horn a couple times telling me to get out the way very effective the problem with that is the full hand required to operate the squeeze ball!!!. BTW if you look at many ISDE bikes from the 80-90s the racers would use squeeze ball horns because they are fool proof and always worked when called upon for op inspections/FIM DOT compliance regulations. robertaccio 411 Posted October 2, 2020 Leave it in place as is. Is the answer. You can see it in the mouth of the airbox
robertaccio 411 Posted October 2, 2020 I got my real answer. TwinAir Tech data dual layer foam WHT outer larger pore, to ORN inner smaller pore. And their 3 layer filter design, same as dual but with a BLK layer inside that is fire resistant designed to eliminate backfire screens installed in many 4 stroke motorcycles. So I will leave the screen in place, the TwinAir filter for the 610 is the standard dual layer foam type.
robertaccio 411 Posted October 2, 2020 I'm doing a little research with other brands Motorex, UNI etc to see if they are fire resistant on the inside layer
robertaccio 411 Posted October 5, 2020 Also due to a few hurdles I am going for the all WHT Cemoto Plastica Italia plastic set up, so Front and Rear fenders will be WHT along with the OEM WHT shrouds and side panels. So she will have a more modern/retro (80s) color scheme. Man I sure will have alot extra stuff boxed for this bike!!!
robertaccio 411 Posted October 7, 2020 I am actually further along , but I did have a couple of mock up pictures that give an idea of the look!
