Adv day= First dirt day 990

I started by going up Nate Harrison grade. I caught up to these two guys at the top of the grade. They kindly pointed out that I had a screw in my rear tire.

Went to pump up so I could get to the observatory. Broken pump, good thing I had a back up.

This street rider was bewildered as to what I was going to do. He also has a GS1200. I then busted out the tools and gave a tube repair clinic. He loved it and will be going out and making a kit for himself.

I could not jump over to Palomar TT so I headed down. Went through Black Canyon and met up with CDaddy then headed to the 2fer spot.

Lots of bikes showed

On the way down Bp619 took a dirt nap, but seemed to come around.

Looks like fun. I kinda find it a bit funny that folks are amazed that you have tools to change a tube or patch a tire.

Same here.

Cool...funny though, the 1200GS rider has tubeless rims, no tubes required !

Yes, he was checking out the tire plug kit. I had that in my kit as I had stolen my tools from my smaller bikes with the tubliss system.
