Took some video and a couple of snapshots...12 riders total, plus a "dual sport" we picked up along the way.

Two "minor" tip overs/no crashes/no mechanicals...bikes ranging from a DRZ400 up to Mr JaJa on a beast of a GS, with bald street tires...he rocked that thing.

Folks;post up your ride impressions

Thanks Bowers and Bob for running the show.

NOTICE TO ALL: Mr. JA JA has too much talent on his gs1200. He is ruining MY excuses I use such as street tires, heavy big bike to cover up for a general lack of ability. Go HOME dude, you are making ME look bad. HA, HA. It was nice to see a gs1200 run that well. Good job.

Post ride included: Beezzz and Jessie

9:30 am to 1:00 pm

Otay mt smaller roads.

***Jessie email me your phone number, my phone at work does not capture numbers. The email is on my bus card.

Well, to be fair- it's only an 1150.

With panniers.

And slick street tires.

My impression was nice riding, some water, some rough roads, some fast two track, good variety for the group that showed up.

Awesome ride today. It was well worth the journey down there. I will be planning a ride down again real soon. The climbs and water crossings were fun. The pace was just perfect for me(probably slow for most). Like everyone has mentioned hats off to bikeslut, pmb, and cvrick, and everyone else for running a great ride.

I learned alot today.
