Cerveza12 0 Posted June 18, 2014 That was a long tough ride for me but I'm now all smiles after a few days in the jacuzzi. Maybe someday I'll be able to hang for 350+ mile weekends. Here's another pic from the memorial. I never knew Dana but I'm sure we chewed some of the same dirt/sand at one time or another. WIsh I would have gotten a pic at the border with Craig's tire being flat as a pancake..... but he made it across! Thanks for sweeping Crawdaddy....
slagnado 0 Posted June 18, 2014 Here are the photos I compiled into an album on Facebook for family and friends. You should be able to access the link without FB. If you have photos to add, let me know and I will add you as a contributor. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152440776160399&type=1&l=2baa42184a Thanks again! Ride in Peace, Dana. Covered in Dust 163 Posted June 18, 2014 CID, UncleChamp and I beelined for the border after the service- had other commitments at home. Decently-paced ride to Rumorosa, then smooth paved libre road almost to Tecate, until I stopped to pick up a souvenir with my back tire. Quick roadside change, and we were out. I was there to lend my usual help with the repair. CiD
Uncle Champ 116 Posted June 19, 2014 Hey what about me , I held the axle and trimmed my nails while watching the fastest tube change I have ever seen. I need some of those tire iron thingies, mine are torture devices.
