bikeslut 1 Posted January 18, 2013 Our Chef got a Dual Sport- 2006 DRZ with 3000 miles on it, big tank, skid plate, bark busters, stage two jetting, knobbies and warp 9 wheels He has ridden a bit, but not ready for the rough trails- we'll meet at 4 corners around 8- easy trails... 1 down to 2... Spur, Perimeter Road... then re-group. I may stay after and ride some tougher trails, depending on group dynamics if people want to ride a little more street, I can take a group up to Sunrise via Pine Creek, etc.

bikeslut 1 Posted January 18, 2013 4 corners is Lyons Valley rd & Skyline tt correct? Negative- 8 east to buckman springs- turn right about 3 miles, right again on corral canyon road (ohv area) 7 miles on that road to 4 corners
kato 54 Posted January 18, 2013 8 east to buckman springs- turn right about 3 miles, right again on corral canyon road (ohv area) 7 miles on that road to 4 corners Owww freeway is no fun in freezing mornings. Gonna have to find an alternate route if i make it, japatul rd + hwy80 maybe. Thanks
CalNub 0 Posted January 18, 2013 if i don't ride the desert on saturday, then i may join you in corral. wouldn't normally take the 620, but since this is a noob ride and the 400 is currently without spark, it'll have to do.

Thanks Monsieur Le Kato: This is the perfect ride for you. You may have to overlook some of BikeSlut's manners and habits, but should be a lot of fun and introduce you to a fun practice area. Fix that right handguard, first, though- you'll likely need it. Bonne journée!

bikeslut 1 Posted January 18, 2013 Kato- it won't be that cold you can take Mission Gorge as far as you'd like, then get on Olde 80 the rest of the way. at East Willows, you'll have to get on the freeway for about 10 miles, then you can wrap around on 79 to Pine Valley, or, take Viejas Grade into Descanso, and then 79 to old 80 I am taking two bikes out in my truck, otherwise I would offer a lift to you and/or leo
