A Terrible Weekend with Crawdaddy and Strega

Recommended Posts

THAT kicks ASS

I'll get my guy on it as soon as we have numbers

It was created in pshop and Illustrator, final draft in AI so it's already in vector format in actual size, so no need for any artwork adjustments on the printer side.

I'm getting a lil better with Illustrator, it's a tough nut to crack. Not as easy as Photoshop that's for sure.

The nearly completed t-shirt design for the event...(Yes I know the date is wrong)

That may turn out to be the right date.......about 5 weeks before The Desert Dash......

A few pointers for those looking at the design:

Did you folks notice the outline of the state of Nevada?

Did you also notice the squiggly red lines under the Terribles Cowboy? (those are the draft GPS tracks superimposed in the correct geographical location)

I think the design is a lock once we settle on a date/tracks......

Standing By,

Thinking I can coax my buddy Captcham out of Coronado for this one.

So, is this a M23 or a D606 ride?

Thanks Guys for the Effort!

More sand riding than rock riding - use whatever tire suits you in local desert

Updated first post.

Hey Crawdaddy, I am in on this one. Sounds like a great ride with fellow SDARiders. Is there anything I can do to help you guys out to prep and prepare for the ride? Other than making sure I have a full tank of gas, Let me know how else I can lend a hand. Thanks for putting this together!

Hey Stranger......where are the Baja pictures??.....that ride was ~4 months ago  :bomb:

We've got the prep covered.......but yeah, show up with a full tank of gas this time ya knucklehead.......(I sold the Exxon Valdez/Mothership to Strega so you'll have to grovel to him if you need fuel after ~40 miles (again) !!)

Is there a host hotel from the State Line selection....?....

Working on that now, trying to figure out where we can get the best deal, bang for the buck, etc. We're open to suggestions as well if anyone has had experience staying at Stateline. We stayed at Buffalo Bills not to long ago and it was cheap and parking was easy.

Already have calls in to see what kind of deals we can get.

Buffalo Bills is always throwing us good deals. Its our favorite of the three. Free rooms and such. I can have my travel agent wife check on a group rate for us. There is also a RV park there with full hookups.

When you have an idea on the tracks/schedule......please let me know if it would be beneficial to go Friday and Saturday leaving for home Saturday night.

I need to catch a plane to St. Louis for a 3 day meeting on the 17th. :good:

This always happens! I missed the AZ trip for meetings :huh:
