Pokey151 244 Posted March 9, 2021 I have been keeping them but my garage is getting pretty full. Debating on getting rid of them. I have 5. All the same number but one plate I had from 2009 to 2019 so I could never get ride of that one just curious if you keep plates and trophies?
tntmo 887 Posted March 9, 2021 Sentimentality is a weird thing, holding onto silly things that have no real value. I have tried getting rid of stuff like that with limited success. Take some good pictures of them and write a few notes about the time frames involved....that’s what worked for me on things like that. Rosebud!!

Zubb 1061 Posted March 9, 2021 I recently bought a book offered to me from Facebook called Pastbook. It is a compilation of of my history of postings since I joined and each pic includes the comment I posted with it. They auto-generated this book and we bought it as a coffee table book. it wouldn’t be too hard to compile your own bucket of pics and have any number of services publish it for you. But yeh, ya gotta keep a small representation of the real thing.
dirt dame 559 Posted March 9, 2021 The only number plate I ever kept was the one I ran at the 1972 Elsinore Grand Prix....along with finisher pin and the program book. Other than that, there are a few trophies from various races. That's about it.
robertaccio 406 Posted March 9, 2021 for me it never worked out very well, I had used a heat gun to peel many of my number graphics and had them pasted about the garage. Tecate enduro, Tecate HS, Puerta MX/HS, Tractor racing HS Nat H&H, Nat enduro, D37 races, D38 and other events numbers/ graphics. I ended up just trashing all the stuff. would be fun to have...but one thing I did do is create a decent computer folder collection of data from every event photos included. and I do have a cork board with all my event pins stuck in it. And I do have a Tee shirt collection of events back to 1997 Tecate enduro
paulmbowers 236 Posted March 9, 2021 I long ago melted down all my trophies for the gold and funded a small town's Boy's and Girl's club for about a decade. 2
