Two thumbs up for Golden Fattie

Recommended Posts

If you have ridden with me you know I whine about sand, well now that George redid the Huskies suspension and I installed a Golden Fattie the sandy stretches of Culp etc were no effort at all. If you are on the fence about suspension work or the Golden Fatties, get OFF the fence! I was thinking how great riding would have been all these years if I had started on a properly set up bike , just think off all the unbroken ribs, fingers ,collarbones etc.

Seriously get a Golden Fattie (I even ran to much tire pressure), good offroad and on.

No affiliation with any tire company.

Yup done both, last tire on my 350 i was being cheap and went with standard pirelli man was front end twitchy at desert dash. Golden will be going back on. I would typically run 15 or 16psi with golden and uhd tube felt fine

I recently got the Golden Tire Desert Tone off Ebay for 120 shipped.

Same width and tread. Harder compound.

I have about 12 hours on it and love it, Hoping the side knobs wont chunk off as fast.

Have to wait 3 or 4 months to find out about the chunking.

Only tires I'll ride if I have my choice.

Paying to get the suspension tuned to your riding is the cheapest insurance policy you can buy.!

I have been running a UHD tube all season so far with (knock on wood...) no issues to date. :smile_anim:
