Guest Hammerin Hammon Posted January 8, 2008 On all the DUAL SPORT rides I have been on I could have kept up on my wifes CRF150. Come on Craig, join the AMA, race D38 and show them your stuff. They have OLD GUY classes. I have raced NATIONAL AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPs. It doesn't get any better. I dont have anything left to prove. I set my mark high and achieved it. Now I am a dualsport rider who is happy rideing my dependable Honda's. At the Big A SUPPERCROSS there was no (OLD GUY CLASS or BETA's) Craig.

RogerTOWM 0 Posted January 8, 2008 Doesn’t the Beta use the old KTM engine that KTM got from Husaberg which came from Husqvarna? Anyway looks like a great race bike! More then I’d ever need. Craig can I borrow your new crf 230L Dualsport ripper?
Guest Hammerin Hammon Posted January 8, 2008 While at the race yesterday I saw a couple of these kicking ass so I asked a few questions about them and Ride Orange and Tree educated me on them. Very nice! The specs on the Street legal 525 claim a dry weight of only 255lbs, that's like 70lbs lighter than the pig (with a full XR Valdez tank) I need to try a ride on one! Here is their website:http://cc.msnscache.com/cache.aspx?q=72720...&FORM=CVRE2 Hey guys, I like the way it looks too, and asume it would be fun to ride. NOW MAKE IT RELIABLE and I will buy one too. Spaugh 1 Posted January 10, 2008 Doesn’t the Beta use the old KTM engine that KTM got from Husaberg which came from Husqvarna? Anyway looks like a great race bike! More then I’d ever need. the Betas use the RFS motors. The 00-07 EXCs used em along with some of the other ktms those years. Not sure if they were in house design or not but they actually have a pretty solid track record for reliability. Of course its not going to last as long as a 650 before it needs a makeover... The desert actualy bores me. I like technical and motocross much better.
Yeti 0 Posted January 10, 2008 Those do look nice. I'd love to get something a bit lighter than the Pig, I don't really need more power. Well, ok, maybe a bit more would be ok!!
