Suspenders 43 Posted May 3, 2014 Just picked up a 990. Surprised it took Honda this long to enter the market and will be glad if they do. Competition improves the bikes. Next they will be going after the EXC.

Afry 1 Posted May 3, 2014 I sure hope so but dont forget to add 40 lbs for EPA cat converters and DOT crap. Of course that stuff tends to fall off lol. That inline twin might be a little wide.
EKN8404 0 Posted May 3, 2014 I would consider this, I love Honda but i really really wish they would make a dual sport that would compete with the 500 exc.

Dan Diego 40 Posted May 3, 2014 I dunno...looks WAY too easy to maintain. I kinda like the Austrian way of having to remove both fuel tanks, handle bars and master link...just to check the oil!

Dan Diego 40 Posted May 3, 2014 by dipstick, I meant for the oil, not dandiego Dipstick in the big KTMs; the smaller bikes may have sightglasses. But the process to get into the bike (plugs, valves) isn't hyperbole...
paulmbowers 236 Posted May 3, 2014 Pfft. What's a few screws (12?) and several bolts to change an air filter? Remember, we enjoy tinkering, and that means these bikes are a whole lotta fun!!
