Grading of Santa Ysabell Truck Trail

Recommended Posts

I just got back from a cruise around my local stuff, which includes SYTT. This is a route that many people on and off this board enjoy. I'm thoroughly disgusted to report that they have graded the entire length of SYTT. not only have they graded it, but they widened it as well. I know this is a truck trail, but it use to have the feeling of a fun, two track, challenging, trail. You could ride a Harley on it now...WTF

thats too bad, but I suppose with the fire season they expect in this drought, keeping it useful to cal fire is the priority....

at least they didn't CLOSE it.....

They did the same thing to Tenaja TT awhile back. After a season or two, its character is returning...

Hope the same for Santa Ysabel TT ..

Calling all 950/990's......time to "fix" this trail

Don't forget the 800XCs! Anyone have an irrigation truck they can roll through to soak the ground before we "improve" the trial?

Mr Oracle: I came pretty close to cracking my oil pan on numerous occasions today trying to take my kids through sytt in my trusty VW golf, good times! Once my 6 yo said "daddy I think we lost the rear bumper", but luckily we only smashed the catalytic converter.

Its graded but don't be french and take a compact through it
