Crawdaddy 96 Posted December 16, 2013 Chief Gunner (Aaron) and I blasted out to Bullhead Friday on the big bikes.......mainly pavement with some light dirt......took the long way over across 78 to Blythe, up BIA1 through Indian Lands to Parker, 95 to Havasu, old 66 to Oatman, Silver Creek Road (Dirt) and into Bullhead at nightfall.... It was an all day deal between assorted stops and ~300 miles of riding....... Osborne Lookout Bullhead: The winds were howling on Sat so we stayed in the RZR, cruised over to Oatman for breakfast, and bounced around to a few spots: Jarrett and I discovered a Bronco that had been caught in a flash flood in Sept 2012 This is what it looks like now Jetted home yesterday......Rice Valley along the Aquaduct Palen Pass (photo op...we didn't ride it but I plan on heading back on the 350 with camping gear and staying at Patten's Cabin) Stopped and spent about 40 minutes at the Patten Museum......I'd never gone inside before.....interesting Parched after a long desert run......wet the whistle before heading home ~600 fun filled miles on the big bikes......time for some new tires on the VStrom....stockers are worn down and sketchy in the dirt

Chief Gunner 2 Posted December 16, 2013 Thanks for a Great weekend Chris; I Love riding and seeing places I've never been before. It seemed like I kept letting myself get distracted and got lost in trying to memorize things and trying to let it soak in more than I should have instead of wanting to "Rail It'. It definitely made me allot slower than I usually ride when I am by myself. You would have lost me for sure a few times if I wasn't riding the 990; She's a Champ!..She made it easy to catch up everytime I slipped into ADD / "So Pretty " mode LOL. danrider 5 Posted December 16, 2013 Nice that you have two bikes, one that you can lollypop around on and one you can get serious about the dirt on.
