Sunday LARK- NEW location

Recommended Posts

REVISED DUE TO PRECIPITATION

I will be going to LARK, NOT CORRAL

still starting at 730, and still done by 11ish

Kato- PM me if you want a ride, and I'll load your beast in my truck. I'll bring tie-downs, etc.

-kll be riding the DRZ, but all of the trails are possible on a KLR. Or DR650...or KTM990. I wouldn't take a V strom or 1200 GS but others might

The switchbacks on 6, rocks and water crossing on 4, and rock crawling on 11 require a little more finesse

MrsBowers is traveling, so I'm out. I'm not even lurking. It's simply out of the question. Can't go.

So, you two are trucking it from Alpine or riding out?

Trucking out...kato MAY ride back from Lark in the afternoon

This will be my first time trucking the klr.. I don't know how I feel about that but my knobbies will love it ahah

After trying to chase BS around Lark in the morning I plan on exploring around Jacumba (I'm bringing a sandwich) then ride back on hwy 94 sometime in the afternoon. I don't know the area but anyone is welcome to join of course.

I'll meet you at Carl's Jr in Alpine at 6:30 on my XR400 and I'll follow you out, if that's okay? But my Dunlop 606s are going to hate me for it!

If BS's truck can not fit another bike I don't mind riding out with you man... or, it might make more sense if I ride the klr out and you truck the 400

I may have room for another bike... Chef is coming with his DRZ in his van; I'll ask him to bring the Joe Hauler too.

If you have tie downs, bring 'em

I never see any of these mysterious "droolers" that you speak of, when I am out later in the morning. I must just be lucky, and that's a good thing, because I plan to be out latish to tune a new carburetor tomorrow.

:tired::sleeping_02::dead: you ARE the drooler! its OK, we have the trails to ourselves after the giant group of people who are running on not enough sleep leave. those tired riders are a real trail hazard!

Not me, buddy! Those sleep deprived early guys just drool on a different shift, than those who drool later. :lol:/>
