I'm in!

I'll take my own room...I'm a bit of an occasional snorer :sleeping_02: .......unless someone wants to share and I'll supply the earplugs!

Hey Guys, just got back from Thailand for a vacation, including from th Internet. But I am back and recovered from 14 hour time difference.

I need to make room reservations Monday morning, please PM me if you're 100% in. Also, please let me know you're communication preference. I am a quick conference call or IM kind of guy, so please me know if you really a face to face. And also you're thoughts of taking this offline.

I have beniflas and four guys via schwedy balls confirmed, plus my bro and myself. I will be making room reservations tomorrow afternoon, so this is your last chance to sign up. If you have any doubts about the ride and want to chat before you commit, pls call me directly @ 858-688-4355. I am sitting on a plane about to take off for Austin, but I have a layover in SLC. Otherwise, tomorrow before 10am PST is your last chance.

Sounds like we have a great group so far, and I am stoked. I picked up a new rear tire yesterday, so just need to do a quick oil service and I am set.

...but just got my 500 on Friday so hoping I can get 'the beast' Baja ready and broken-in before Baja. Crazy massive power compared to my '05 525! Love it! :-)

I am in! Only caveat is: I'm job searching so if I land a job before the trip (and hopefully I do!) my vacation time would be unknown. But sounds like a great trip!

I have rooms booked for Friday and Saturday, and am working on Sunday.

Friday @ Santo Tomas. El Palomar Motel, which is right on the highway behind the Pemex. I stayed there 20 years ago, and it was fine. I booked 5 double rooms @ $40/room.

Saturday @ San Quintin. Hotel Mission Santa Maria, which is on the beach. I have stayed at other hotels in that chain and they are pretty nice. I booked 5 double rooms @ $50/room.

Sunday @ Valle de la Trinidad. They are not answering the phone tonight, but I will keep trying. Will book 5 doubles.

Room Assignments:

Room 1: Jim and Jeff
Room 2: Beniflas
Room 3: Schweddy Balls
Room 4: Onanysunday
Room 5: Eddie Earl

Everything's looking very good. If I cannot get rooms in Valle T we will have to stay at Mike's. I like that place, but it's a rip off ($70/person).

+1 on the Maxxis Desert IT. I got 1,700 miles on the rear and it still has a ton of life. That said, I have a shinny new one going for this this trip.

Two more miles and it would have been the ride of the Diablos. Hope to hear a ride report and videos soon.
