Welcome to Tim for lurking in and Craig for showing up too. JimBob gets the mileage award, riding the DRZ in from Temecula. Karleada jumped on board at the last minute and Spyder did his silent showing. We also met up with Bushwhacker as we made the turn onto the border road.

A great day all the way around. Outstanding weather and a good riding group. A few very minor drops and no injuries. I'd call it a success.

Tim arriving as jimbob & Karleada stare blankly at their dash.

Spyder performed sweep duties quite a bit and made sure we didn't lose anyone. THX!!!!

Wil taking in the view with the gaggle behind him.

A little zoom on the point & shoot got me into downtown.

It's still amazing to see the amount chopped out of the hill for the border road.

A short regroup after going head on with a truck. Glad I have medical coverage since I'll need to have my shorts surgically removed.

70 ish miles round trip, great weather, good riding group. Thx!

another fun area I don't ride NEAR enough! Good pictures, as always... any more to the story with the truck?

You almost became a hood ornament?

Sorry I couldn't make this one.

But I'm glad you got to ride with Tim, Spyder, JimBob, Bushwacker and Karleada!

I'd like to get back down there for another border ride....I know there was talk that some of the road was closed...can you still ride from Otay to Campo?

Dunno. Did a different loop, heading south from Doghouse to the border road, to Marron Valley, then past (not thru) what is normally the water crossing (bone dry yesterday). Looped around back to DH then down to the RV park where we started up the hill.

Game for an exploration.......
