Anza Borrego - Wild Flowers

I was asked...

"Sugesstions on the best place in Anza Borrego to see the wildflowers?"

Anyone have ideas? They are going to be in an SUV, not on bikes.

Coyote Canyon is fine all the way to the deep crossing for an SUV.

I have hopes for Pinyon Mountain Valley, although tough to reach with the family sedan.

Also tough to reach on a mountain bike.......passed a guy last week riding the trail. Must be still sore.....as I was riding I noticed his tracks with quite a few wipe outs.

Pinyon Mountain Canyon had very little in bloom.

Indian Canyons, the cacti were flowering but little in terms of flowers.

The higher elevation was alive.

And I'd wait another week or two for the blooms to really get into high gear.
