kellymac530 0 Posted February 24, 2010 hey everyone, my name is kelly, everyone in my life calls me kellymac because my last name is an McC name. i ride an '08 ktm 530excr. i absolutely love my bike, and have corrected the minor issues that have come up with the new xc4 motors, as well as done a number of tuning mods to really wake up its performance. i am always happy to share any bits of knowledge i have aquired over the years. i have been riding for 40 years and got my first bike in 1970, a brand new 1971 yamaha mini enduro 60. i have raced motocross for most of my life. im 46 yrs old btw. years of racing and injuries have led me more towards dual sport riding these days, although i still like to ride with a fairly aggressive mx style. im a devout christian man, happily married to the same woman for over 22 years. we have the most beautiful 16 yr old daughter, who is a true daddys girl. she has been riding since she was 6. she started on a suzuki lt80 quad, but never really liked it. at 8 yrs old she hoped on a ttr90 and within 5 minutes was screaming "how much can we sell my quad for....i want a bike!!" the wife was pissed at me, but my daughter has been on bikes every since. she currently rides an '07 yam wr250f, i bought new as a left over last summer. i have been a regular over at THUMPER TALK for a while now and am a gold member with over 1300 post. yeah i talk alot lol. i am personal friend with a member of sdar named 02rdking, and have gotten to know bikeslut and strega over on TT. looking forward to getting to know a few of you, im sure you will have some great input on my questions, and i hope i may be able to add a bit of help here and there myself.....thanx for listening {or reading actually} and see you all in the forums kellymac

Do you do much riding in the Cleveland National Forest or Hemet/Idyllwild areas? I am always looking for a buddy to do some exploring with. we ride a few areas in cnf fairly often. when the gates are all open we love to ride all the way over to cooks corner grab some lunch and a pitcher, laugh at the dead cow wearers, and ride so. main divide back. great couple of hours. i havent gotten to ride hemet/idyl other than on the roads. but as soon as im healed im dying to ride EVERYWHERE. btw....is it even possible to live in riverside and be a snob? :lol2: kinda ghetto in lake elsinore to get snobby. im actually shocked you guys let me in the party, i keep waiting for the police escort out

That can get a bit snobbish on occasion driving around in their Escalades on 22's.. :lol2: Those of us in Elsinore and Murrieta spend our money on dirt bikes.. rexr 0 Posted February 26, 2010 Nice... Ours is a 00 Wrangler, yellow with a black hard top and doors. 3" lift on 33 A/T's. Detroit Lockers in the rear and Detroit TruTrack in the front with 4.56 gearing. We love to wheel also. We spend a lot of time down in Anza Borrego and up in the Panamint Valley. We also do Bee Canyon up to Idyllwild a few times a year. You ever hook up with the Just Runs group down in San Diego?
socalhodaka 105 Posted February 26, 2010 Kelly, welcome to the group. My daughter rides a yz250f also and is 17. Keep your eyes open for one of Christi's track days or one her girls days at the track. Christi and her other women friends are good riders and really welcome the girls. Kaylie and I also race vintage MX, there is a good one at Perris raceway this Sunday. I had a big get off at the Dash and won't be racing but may still try to go.
