I joined Photobucket. How do I post individual photos into a thread, as opposed to pasting a link to the pictures?

Thread Topic has changed to problems with SDAR photo attachments.

hover over the picture with your cursor (dont click) in the album

a box will appear under the pic... pick the IMG link, and copy, then paste in to the post

it won't look like a picture in the post, until you post it

It explains how to do this in the Website Info Section about posting photos....you use the little link box at the top of your post that says "insert image", where you paste the image link. Please read the Information Section about how to do this.

There's always the "Help" Button at the top right of your screen also.

I am trying to add a ride report with pics, but keep getting this .Error Upload failed. Please ask the administrator to ensure the uploads directory is writeable.

My pic sizes are 640x480. So what am I doing wrong?

Photobucket works fine if you just copy the "image code" from the individual picture in Photobucket and paste it into your post:

Questions about photobucket have been answered, please no more posts (IN THIS THREAD) with photos from other image hosting sites.

We're now addressing the SDAR server inability to attach photos.

Above is edited for clarification.........comment about other image hosting sites applies to only this thread.

Thanks.

I guess you fixed the problem. Thanks

Nope, I didn't see anything wrong in the forum settings......I sent Cam an e-mail, and he got right on it, knew exactly what it was and fixed it, even though he's busy at work.

Thanks to Uncle Cameron !!

So to be clear.......

Is it ok to use Smugmug for hosting photos here?

OK, I see the misunderstanding........I will edit what I said, which was just referring to THIS THREAD about other image hosting sites, since the topic changed to problems with attaching photos on our server, which the problem is now fixed.

Of course, it's always OK to use other image hosting sites.
