Ya, those guys are incredible. I'd love to check that out! Then after I'll do a KLR Trials Demo for you. It will include several hernia_hops :( , a few boulder_ballbusters :(, and for the finale, a one handed nak-nak triple lindy-Never before attempted on a motorcyle, but proven to be possible by Rodney DANGERfield.

I've been wanting to see one of those events for a while. I'm asking for the 28th off.

Any chance of taking the 29th off and watching the final day? Joliet wants to do a maintenance day on the 28th in Vista...

If possible I would love to go on ride! Where is this taking place? How long of a ride are you planning.? What kind of riding? What will be conditions of ride and trip? Thanks

Maybe we can work this into a ride. Do a little spectating...

American Trials Association 28/29 Oct 2006 SDTR 2day, 2 points paying events - McCain Valley

EDIT: Save Sunday October 29, 2006 for a McCain Invasion...

The event riders meet at 9:00am. The course riders start out soon after, so to ensure we see some good stuff we might want to be out there before lunch.

Anyone have an idea for a good place to hook-up and ride out there? People want to ride out and just spectate or mix it with a local loop before or after???

does anybody know if they are closing off any of the Lark Canyon area? It doesnt really say on their website, and I haven't been out there in a while. They used to close down the access to Corral Canyon for some NORBA events. I plan on trucking out there with Morgan and his TTR125... not sure if the peanut will be going. I would expect the border road would get you pretty close, and McCain Valley road is about 9 miles of dirt, with 2 overlooks that are pretty sweet.

I know some trails. This is my back yard, Wow ee's too. Maybe a visit is in order!

Besides Phantom 1, There are some great loops from my place, lot's of dirt some flat track. Lots of meeting places with fuel and parking.

We could meet at the Golden Acorn Casino and ride in from there at 0800?????

Sounds like this is shaping-up to be a good ride

If the little women want to check it out, I'll be bringing the truck and packing the mighty 625 for an after-ride,,,

...or, ride in the A.M. and meet them at McCain and pack it home

Let's see what the majority is up to... feedback please

Ok it looks like Sunday 0800 for breakfast at the Casino then ride dirt to the ATA event at Mc Cain.

I may end up 4 wheeling to the event, I am trying to drag a wounded rider out with us.
