amgems 79 Posted April 4, 2016 We were talking about camp stoves on the Mystery Tour. I couldn't remember the name of the stove I have. Some foggy moments during that trip. Anyway this is what I have (Etekcity Ultralight Stove). It is really tiny. Have used it a few times and seems durable and have had no problems. The cooking kit (GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Soloist) is a good design. I like it because it carries both the stove and the fuel canister inside of it. Nice set up for saving space. Got all this info from an article on ADV pulse: http://www.advpulse.com/adv-products/8-motorcycle-camping-gear-essentials-for-under-300/ http://www.etekcity.com/product/100049.html http://www.gsioutdoors.com/shop/cooking/integrated-cooking-systems/pinnacle-soloist.html

Mikey777 44 Posted April 5, 2016 +1 on the GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Soloist. I use a GSI set-up with an MSR pocket rocket. It packs much smaller than a Jet Boil which is gigantic (although works great)..
Bp619 107 Posted April 5, 2016 I used to use gsi stuff until switching to the olicamp xts with its heat transfer system, will heat up water insanely fast. Big plus on the msr rocket

Dan Diego 40 Posted September 7, 2016 I used the Primus Himalaya multi-fuel stove for many, many years (20?). Just sold it recently on CL and bought a JetBoil MiniMo. Was tired and jealous of watching my camp/ride pals with their modern gear drinking coffee in 3 minutes. I still have an old MSR multi-fuel stove and some MSR BlackLite cooking gear to sell. The JetBoil pretty much made all of that obsolete...
