Kernan was very forgiving yesterday. New rider Dave really did a great job keeping the klr on its feet. Dave comes prepared, he has tools, tubes ,water ,air compressor , and a little fuzzy ball hooked to a wire on his helmet.

Dave got that klr so stuck the front tire was off the ground while his rear tire was digging a hole. I was dying laughing on the ground because he didn't realize his centerstand was down. Thanks for that Dave .

There was Dylan also showed up on the most iconic classic all purpose dualspirt, the xl 250r. oh man I would of traded bikes.he tossed that thing around like mayonayse on a knife.

I suffered the most serious injury when some snow threw my back tire to the side,it tossed my leg over the front fender ,pulled a muscle groin ow.

Now I'm riding the couch for 1/2 day.

Riding out there made me realize how important the new riders are to SDAR.

The fresh blood of SDAR.

6hr ride .

Cjx5 (cj54x)is a very smooth rider lots of forethought that elevated my riding level. He is capable of bringing around your thought process.

Very courteous rider you can tell he loves the outdoors Its his natural habitat.

Kernan is literally falling off the edge at the top, I've never seen it do that. Rains got it good.

Thanks Dave for offering to buy me a burger but i was too cold and sore .

(First time a noob ever broke me off.)

That's right where I like to be after good ride :sore ,tired, hungry, happy,

You know you had a good ride if you leave the bike in the truck overnight muddy after the ride.

Hopefully Dave will chime in with some legal pics.

Had a great time with you guys. I'm not sure I have ever been this sore in my life, but it was a great trip! I try and keep my phone/camera put away, so I was only able to capture these quick pics:

Oh man, what a fun day! I really feel indebted to 350thumper and cj54x for all of the advice and encouragement, and to all three guys for helping dig me out and lift up the bike, what a workout. seriously, if you're a noob, this forum is a great resource, you just need to put yourself out there a little and trust the knowledge of those with more experience. never did the guys leave me behind or lose patience, in fact when I was losing confidence, the guys were there to tell me that i was doing great! only took a few pics, I was too busy having fun! next ride Ill bring the nice camera and tripod and get some better pics/video. for those of you who are curious about picture 2 and 5, apparently that white stuff is called snow, its commonly found in most of america, but is quite rare around san diego (i had to google to find out) try to avoid it, its cold and wet!

I tried to just give you guy's two thumbs up but my post was too short.

So there, now it should be long enough.

Quote of the day: "He tossed that XL250R around like mayonnaise on a knife."

Sweet!

Did you guys come down Buckman and turn left on Cameron Truck Trail? If so I was the wacko waving at you from a riding lawnmower just before the truck trail, if not I was just waving at bikes,
