Afry 1 Posted May 6, 2014 Oh boy, look out - here it comes... I know my choice would be the Yamaha, They are also holding value very well at dealer auction going for top dollar - well above book.
robertaccio 414 Posted May 6, 2014 too bad us US riders think we are the center of the world......in reality our choices are quite limited. http://www.gasgasmotos.es/en/dual-sport/450-ec-cami-250.html http://www.betamotor.com/en/enduro/bikes/rr-enduro-4t-125-3 this 125 would most likely compete head to head with the Japanese 250 series models. http://www.betamotor.com/en/alp/bikes/alp-40-2012 OK its a 350. I know so what we dont have all these here. PS I like the Yamaha the best but I think the Honda is the best value last time I checked at Veys Lemon Grove, they were very very reasonably priced. Honda is the best value for what? Price ok. Short people also and thats about it. With the other two you get adjustable suspension, and more. Like the guy quoted. But as you’re Grandpa used to say, ‘you get what you pay for’ so if you’re seeking the finest 250 dual-sport, than the WR is the bike you need in your garage. dirt dame 561 Posted May 6, 2014 Too bad indeed that we can't have some of the bikes that are available in other countries. Both my WR300 and WR125 were offered up in street trim with lights, turn signals and a horn in Europe, etc. I would love to have either of these in a plated version! TrophyHunter 15 Posted May 6, 2014 Yeah, I'd like to see the street legal DRZ-250 everybody else gets.....with the TM28 pumper....light, low tech, with good suspension. Plenty o' fun & it'd be extremely budget friendly. Ah well.
