Agreed. It is the normal progression of an offroad racing career. Stephane, Travis Pastrana, Jeff Ward, Rick Johnson, all successful on two wheels and then moved to 4 wheels. Some more successfully than others. Word is Valentino Rossi has eyes on F1 and NASCAR.

BREAKING NEWS - #ValentinoRossi is to ride in the 2015 #Dakar along side of #CyrilDespres on the #Yamaha Team! #Rossi is training hard for deep sand but Despres is quoted as saying #Rossi could well be on the podium in 2015

Could be true? Could be internet jibberish? Rossi has a SuperMotard track at his house, is an accomplished SuMo rider and instructor and knows a thing or two about going fast on two wheels. Could be a good rally in 2015.
