Want a "Lightweight" 2-stroke?

Recommended Posts

There is also the center of gravity, and the center of rotating mass (crankshaft) that has to be figured in. My two strokes definitely feel a lot lighter than my four stroke bike. The power delivery makes them feel pretty light too.

My 00 CR250R is my lightest bike!!!! coolio.gif

This bike rips now, but next piston I am thinking of doing this.

Eric Gorr 295cc (300cc) kit for '00 to '01 CR250 - pics!

A few guys on PRO RIDE are racing these and raving about how well they run!

Even though the difference in weight rolling my 525 around the garage or picking it up off the ground is extremely noticeable versus my 300, the seat of the pants difference while riding is even more.

My 79 Husky 250 OR weighs 230 lbs dry Brian.

Got to be my all time favorite bike for just riding in the open desert. Pretty hard to beat a good two stroke when there are no trails or dirt roads around.
