KTMrad 517 Posted October 11, 2010 Here's a few teaser pix until I actually start my write-up......... back last night........over 2300 miles, 11 days.......about 50 - 60% off pavement. Trip / vacation was not long enough......I wanted more. Here's a few pix.......... nv1 - High over 10,000 - 11,000 feet many times in the Nevada mountains. nv2 - Princess......I'll tell you the story later. nv3 - Snow high above Bishop, CA. nv4 - Roh Roh ! nv5 - Rocky Road.....I had to try this dead end road I did on my 640 once before.......I knew it would be a challenge nv6 - but I made it up. nv6a - to over 11,000 feet nv7 - another scenic photo opp nv8 - rode with 76 year young Dale on his Buell Firebolt dualsport, we rode 2 days together. KTMrad 517 Posted October 11, 2010 A few more......... First is some of the typical dirt roads that cross the vast open ranges of Nevada. Second, high in the mountains of Nevada. Snow in the Sierra on the Buttermilk Loop. The last pic, is Zoot (Ted) and his friend John, at the VCMC Bishop Dualsport Ride. I ran into them, also RandyKTM530 and Kkug were there.......... Self-employed, independent consultant.......best decision I ever made.......I can work two thirds the normal work month, make the same money and have lots of free time to ride.
