I want to learn more about techniques to ride in the dirt. Has anyone seen this? Is it good?

Also, has anyone gone to the BMW Adventure weekend? Feedback? I looked into it but it is about $ 1300 for the weekend.

at the risk of outing anybody... that disc has been seen recently by me... then hoss... then? Your friend Paul started it... try a search, or pm Hoss, and see who got it next

as for the video... it was ok. Good reminders, and we can all use the reminders... it did seem more geared towards street riders transitioning to dirt, rather than born in the dirt riders...

as for the rawhyde adventure... I have heard great things. Private trails... great food... lots of fun

You could probably get a lot of the same from going to Big Bear in Sept... maybe not quite the high level of teaching

Sounds like the DVD is what I need (you described me perfectly transitioning to dirt) and I will add the adventure weekend to the wishlist:) Although I like your Big Bear suggestion better! Thanks

I had ridden street for years and and never on dirt. The first one taught me a lot. If you know how to do everything on the first one and want to learn more, pickup the second (advanced techniques).
