Last year was the inaugural event and it was a good/fun ride.....a few of the hard ways were HARD from what I heard.....I only rode one of the hard ways which is right near Idyllwild (rode it the second time I rode the route with a friend – and it was a blast!.....tight mountain bike single track) Here's a couple pics from last year: The downhill challenge (first pic) was a cool/snakey single track that droped down to a meadow below (pic #3)......the other picture was a single track on the way to the downhill challenge (I think?).....both of these were on the EASY way course......one of the hard way options was to ride the downhill challenge uphill in the afternoon on the way back to Beaumont from Idyllwild.......I didn't try to ride up it but heard a lot of people didn't make it.......it was pretty tough because if one person sliped/stalled everyone else behind them was toast since all momentum was lost....it's a pretty steep single track so you can't pause....gotta charge.....
