pyro 1 Posted April 13, 2009 Have you ever heard of the Easter Squirrel? I know, I didn't believe it either, until I witnessed it today. Crack of dawn and a brand new set of 606's. Time to roll out! The weather was crisp so I decided to go search for snow. There wasn't much snow left but everything was covered in frost, including my fingers. The dirt was nice and soft with great traction on the new dunlops. As the journey continued, I ended up over by the wind farm. I had never been up-close to these things before. Wow they're huge! Look at my little mini bike at the bottom of this one for comparison: And then it happened ! I was looking at the wind turbines from across the canyon . . . . . . and suddenly there she was, smartly perched on the top of a large rock. The Easter Squirrel ! ! ! :boast: I bid her good luck and headed back towards home. The new fence is red with rust already. I guess we didn't pay enough taxes to get the weather-proof model? Another day in paradise! Happy Easter to All. The end.
hobiee 28 Posted April 13, 2009 NICE What a beautiful day it was. I love this type of weather. Wonder if the squirrel brings eggs or nuts?
Beezzz 6 Posted April 13, 2009 The steel is probably "core 10" type which will rust to a point, then stop. It becomes the finish. Beezzz
