tntmo 887 Posted September 9, 2019 My son and I started working on his bike doing the fork seals, the shop sent us the wrong seals and we have everything apart. Does anyone know of a local place that may carry seals? We've called Vey's, MotoWorld, a couple other joints but nobody has parts in stock. Any other ideas? Some of the small places are closed on Mondays too.

It looks like my son found a place that has them. Had to get creative, seals fit a lot of bikes so we found out what model Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki used same size seals. tntmo 887 Posted September 9, 2019 Cycle Gear carries K&L seals on their shelves. Good to know
Suspenders 43 Posted September 9, 2019 K&L seals are not good. You want oem NOK or SKF for long lasting seals. I likely have them in stock and am happy to give advise as well.

Suspenders 43 Posted September 9, 2019 Ya I tried K&L or is it K&S, yes K&S some years ago and had to re-seal several bikes, on me because they did not last. Lots of seal tidbits make a difference. Yamaha seals for instance the seals off the older Yamaha's last longer than their newer seals. They are going after reduced friction. Glad you got it sorted, and if ever in need I am here to serve.
dirt dame 559 Posted September 9, 2019 i have had really good luck with Rocky Mountain ATV's house brand Tusk seals. Just sayin'....and inexpensive too.
