paulmbowers 236 Posted January 16, 2018 I called and beat them up on my renewal- saved $50. BUT! She told me SPOT would be releasing a two-way text unit later this year. BUT! It's my understanding SPOT uses Globalstar satellites and Delorme/Garmin uses Iridium, which is reputed to be better. Possible the new SPOT might use that system as well, I suppose.
