Recommended Posts

Strega and I went up to Costa Mesa a few months back and just like most things......it's completely different in person. Good stuff.

The hooligan class is a hoot to watch (street harleys). If we can get 6 riders minimum we can have our own class - how about a 650+ dual sport/adventure bike class?

I'm in, anyone else?

I used to go to Perris for flat track, my kid used to race in the 50cc class. Great fun. Hopefully I am available to make it to watch this.

Looks like this is a three race series, 1/17-18, 1/31 & 3/7-8.

If we can't get enough for a dual sport class there are two existing classes that may work - "Open Knobbie" and "Run what ya brung (non flat track over 400cc)"

I'm not interested in the series but just some fun times!

Arnie what are you doing? You got me thinking about dimensions. 1/8th mile = 220 yards I know I have seen some races in the early 70's but not on a dual sport bike. hmm My wife is not going to like you...dang...under the lights too.

Yeah the 8th mile has short straights and lower speeds.

I'm going to miss the first one, buddies from OC have talked me into a baja trip that weekend. I will for sure hit the next two of the series.
