Stage coach to mountain springs 1/25

I need to get out for a ride this saturday. I was thinking about doing the stagecoach run then heading over to In-ko-pah (smugglers cave, elliot mine?) 9:00am @ the Jacumba gas stations. I won't ride alone so if interested please RSVP.

Challenging terrain. All skill levels welcome.

make sure you warn yourself that stagecoach has very little traffic, even on a Saturday... If you won't listen to yourself, insist that you put the spot on your person at least.

Yep, did a Jeep run about a month ago. 4 nearly stock vehicles, 2 Jeeps, 2 Toyotas. Since then i've been wanting to go up the south trail on the bike.

Haven't done the loop in a while. Been having bad luck committing to rides with the orange elephant letting me down. So Kinda maybe I might sorta kinda be there I think, maybe. If you don't see me by 9 you can guess another let down.

I'd love to get out there one day this winter but I don't think tomorrow is going to happen for me - I'll be at the office working on a project unfortunately.

My gremlins are alive and well. Spooning on a new tube/tire. Can't be there at 9. Not as fast as BS changing tires.

If I remember right that trial is rocks the whole way up. Can you imagine riding in that rig? Forefathers were tuff.

I agree those "pioneers" were tough... but Stagecoach has deteriorated over the years; I imagine it was always steep, and a bit rocky, but nothing like it is now.
